What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. They can remember things like a login or a basket, and they can also be used to follow you across sites for advertising. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in much the same way.
Cookies on this site
The site itself sets no cookies. It has no logins, forms, analytics or advertising that would need them.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. If Cloudflare’s automated protection needs to tell a person from a bot, it may set one strictly necessary security cookie:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Tells people from automated bots so the site stays available. It isn’t used for tracking or advertising. | 30 minutes |
Because this cookie is needed for security, it doesn’t require consent under cookie laws. You can read more in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Other browser storage
The site doesn’t use local storage, session storage or tracking pixels. Your light or dark setting comes straight from your device and isn’t stored. The “Copy address” button writes my email address to your clipboard only when you press it.
Third parties
Fonts, scripts and 3D models are served from this site, so pages load nothing from Google, social networks or advertising companies. If you follow a link to another website, that site’s own cookie policy applies.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking cookies won’t stop this site working, although Cloudflare may occasionally ask you to complete a quick check.
Changes and contact
If the site ever adds cookies, this statement will be updated first, and anything that isn’t strictly necessary will ask for your consent. Questions go to hello@daniellovett.dev.
