Agreement
This website, daniellovett.dev, is run by Daniel Lovett, an independent contractor doing business as Daniel Lovett IT Consulting (“I”, “me”). By using it you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information about the services I offer. It isn’t advice for your particular setup, and acting on it doesn’t make you a client. Every network and business is different, so get advice that’s based on your actual systems before making changes.
Services and quotes
Describing a service here isn’t an offer to provide it. Paid work starts only once we’ve agreed a written quote, proposal or service agreement, and those documents set out the scope, price, responsibilities and terms. Where they differ from anything on this site, the written agreement wins.
Emailing me doesn’t create a client relationship, and I may decline work at my discretion.
Ownership
The text, design, logo, 3D models and animations on this site belong to Daniel Lovett, unless stated otherwise. You’re welcome to view, share links to and print pages for personal or internal business use. Please don’t copy, republish or adapt the content or design without my written permission.
Product names and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn’t mean those companies endorse me.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the site in a way that breaks the law, harms the site or its visitors, or tries to get around its security. That includes scanning, overloading or probing it for vulnerabilities without my permission. If you’ve found a security issue, please report it to hello@daniellovett.dev and I’ll thank you for it.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites are there for convenience. I don’t control those sites and I’m not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
No warranty
I work to keep the site accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, I make no warranties about it, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, that comes from using this website or relying on its content. This section covers use of the website only. Liability for paid work is set out in the agreement for that work.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled by the state or federal courts in Texas. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes and contact
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top. Questions go to hello@daniellovett.dev.
